Gregory Edgecomb

Gregory Edgecomb is the Founder and Director of Capital Business Brokerage. Before entering the business brokerage industry, Greg owned and operated businesses himself, giving him firsthand insight into the risks, responsibilities, and decisions that come with entrepreneurship.

In 2000, Greg founded Capital Business Brokerage and helped build the firm into a trusted Michigan business brokerage and commercial real estate advisory company. Over the years, he has been involved in the sale of hundreds of businesses and has guided clients across a wide range of industries, deal structures, and ownership transitions.

Greg is known for his integrity, direct communication, practical judgment, and commitment to fair and honest transaction execution. His experience allows him to help clients understand not only what a business may be worth, but also how a transaction should be structured, negotiated, financed, and carried through to closing.

As the founder of the firm, Greg continues to provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to the brokerage team. His long-standing experience remains a valuable resource for clients and advisors navigating the complexities of business sales and acquisitions.
